our children

We invite you to learn more about our children who have hemiplegia by clicking on the links below. These children may be survivors of an early stroke or they may have hemiplegia due to other causes. Whatever the cause, they face many challenges - learning to move with paralysis on one side of the body is a big challenge for someone so small.

Their successes and achievements are always cause for a big celebration.

Remember...Kids Have Strokes, too.

Ashley Grace had a stroke when she was six months old.
Malia's Family Blog probably has had hemiplegia since birth; cause unknown.
Katie had an early stroke.
Noah had a stroke...maybe near birth or when he was 21 days old. There's just not enough information to know at this point. Hopefully, research into the causes of pediatric stroke will give us more answers.
Gabby Doctors think that Gabby had a stroke in utero (before she was born).
