CHAMPS:  Child Habilitation and Motor Performance Skills
Clinical Research Trial

Katherine Sullivan, PhD, PT, Principal Investigator and Shailesh Kantak, MS, PT, Project Coordinator of the Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy Department at University of Southern California are recruiting participants for the CHAMPS Clinical Research Trial.  CHAMPS will investigate how children and adolescents with and without cerebral palsy differ from adults in the way they learn new motor skills.  Results of this study will help in the development of rehabilitation programs for individuals with cerebral palsy.

They are recruiting 1 group of individuals who are:

Group 3:  Children and adolescents between the ages of 8-14 years with the diagnosis of spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy or spastic diplegic cerebral palsy.

CHASA has received a copy of the study proposal, parental and participant consent forms, and the approval letter from the USC Institutional Review Board.
