If you have limited use of one hand, you may find yourself juggling shampoo bottles in the shower. One option is to install a special shampoo or conditioner dispenser, but this doesn’t work if you’re on vacation or a sleep over. It’s possible to learn to shampoo with one hand.
- Buy shampoo that comes in a squirt bottle so you can control how much comes out of the bottle.
- Open lid.
- Squirt shampoo on the top of your affected hand or on your leg if in a bath tub. You could even use the side of the tub.
- Scoop up the shampoo with your unaffected hand and place it on your head.
