CHASA
2005 Walkathon
The 2005 walkathon is CHASA's primary fundraiser. Funds raised from this
event will ensure continued efforts in providing information and support
to families of children with
hemiplegia and infant or childhood
stroke survivors. Current CHASA projects include: websites, phone
hotline, family fun days, speaker honorariums, annual family retreat and
medical conference, family retreat scholarships and college
scholarships.
We invite the families and friends of children who have
hemiplegia or childhood stroke survivors to organize and participate in a
"mini" walkathon in their communities.
CHASA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization and donations to CHASA are fully tax deductible as allowed by
law.
For additional information on
how to hold a mini walkathon in your area, contact
us by email or call 817-492-4325.
